The State/Territory Sponsored Business Owner Visa (Subclass 892) is for applicants who own and manage a business in Australia and are sponsored by a state or territory authority. This is a Permanent Residency visa which allows you to travel in and out of Australia multiple times. It permits you to bring your family members and allows them to work, study and live in Australia.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
You must be a holder of an eligible visa- subclass 160, 161, 162, 163, 164 or 165 visa
You must have lived in Australian for at least 12 months in the last 2 years and be on an eligible visa during that time.
You must have owned and managed a business in Australia for minimum of 2 years immediately prior to application lodgment
You should meet all the required conditions and criteria of your previous provisional visa.
You should be sponsored by the state.
You should have a genuine commitment to manage and run business or investment activities in Australia
You should never have been involved in unacceptable business activities
You must meet all Australian health and character requirements
