SKILLED WORK REGIONAL(SUBCLASS 491)
Skilled work regional (subclass 491) allows the applicants and their family to live, study and work in regional Australia for up to 5 years. This may lead to PR after 3 years if the applicant fulfills the requirements and conditions of their visa. This visa has replaced 489visa and is a point-based visa.
You must have at least 65 points for the application.
You should be either sponsored by a relative or nominated by a state/territory to live and work in that state.
For state/territory nomination, you need to apply for Expression of Interest (EOI) on SkillSelect
Your occupation must be on skilled visa list for subclass 491 visa.
Must meet English requirements
Must meet Australian health and character requirements.
Must not have the visa or application refused earlier.
You must meet state/territory criteria for sponsorship
