The Business Owner Visa Subclass 890 is to encourage business people to settle in Australia and to enhance its economic development. This is a permanent residency visa for the main applicant and its family members.
ELIGIBILITY:
You must hold a valid visa in one of the following visa subclasses:
Business Owner (Provisional) visa (subclass 160)
Senior Executive (Provisional) visa (subclass 161)
Investor (Provisional) visa (subclass 162)
State/Territory Sponsored Business Owner (Provisional) visa (subclass 163)
State/Territory Sponsored Senior Executive (Provisional) visa (subclass 164)
State/Territory Sponsored Investor (Provisional) visa (subclass 165)
You must have lived in Australia for at least one year in the last 2 years while holding valid visa
Applicant must have genuine commitment to maintain the investment activities and business in Australia.
Must meet all Australian health and character requirements.
Must have fulfilled the requirements for the original provisional visa.
