BUSINESS INNOVATION AND INVESTMENT (PROVISIONAL) VISA (SUBCLASS 188)

This visa has further categories:

• Business Innovation Stream: is for applicants who have business experience and want to start and manage a new or existing business in Australia. You must be nominated by a state or territory government. 

• Investor Stream: for individuals who are able to invest minimum AUD1.5million in an Australian state or territory to maintain business and investment activity in Australia.  

• Significant Investor Stream: for individuals who are able to invest minimum AUD 5million into complying significant investments in Australia to maintain business and investment activity in Australia. 

• Premium Investor Stream: for individuals who are able to invest minimum AUD 15million into complying premium investments in Australia. 

• Entrepreneur Stream: for the individuals who are able to have a funding agreement from a third party for at least AUD200 000 to undertake a complying entrepreneur activity which is proposed to lead to either the commercialization of a product or service in Australia or the development of a business in Australia. 

• Business Innovation Extension Stream/ Significant Innovation Extension Stream: For extending your business you must have lived in Australia for 3 years on visa subclass 188 and have fulfilled all the related visa conditions.

• Must meet all Australian health and character requirements.
