BUSINESS INNOVATION AND INVESTMENT PERMANENT VISA (SUBCLASS 888)
This visa is the second stage for the Business Innovation and Investment (Provisional) visa (subclass 188). Applicants can apply for this if they have satisfied all the conditions of their provisional visa. This is the visa for Permanent Residency. It allows you to live, study, enroll in Medicare and to bring your family members to Australia.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
You must be holder of subclass 188 in the business innovation stream, or
subclass 444 visa (Special Category) or
certain holders of subclass 457 visa (Business (Long Stay)
You and your partner must have not been involved in any unacceptable business or investment activities.
Applicant and all included family members must meet all Australian health and character requirements.
You must be nominated by an Australian state or territory on behalf of the Australian government.
Must have genuine commitment to maintain business or investment activities in Australia.
Additional other requirements would be as per the stream under which the applicant is holding the provisional Business Innovation and Investment visa (Subclass 188).
